Bail out an inmate with cash or credit from our self service kiosk or online from
our website
EZ Card & Kiosk (with zero cost to the jail) will install a self service
kiosk in the lobby and booking department of your jail. The newly booked
inmate can go to the booking room kiosk and use his/her credit or debit
card to post bail. Family members can use the lobby kiosk to post for an inmate
or use our secure website to post bail from the comfort of their own home. In order for the inmate
to be released on bail 100% of the bail must be paid in advanced (we do not accept
partial bails).
When the credit card is authorized or the cash has been inserted the kiosk will
print a wallet sized receipt as proof of the bail transaction. The jail can use
the real-time reports on our website to verify the bail transaction. The jail personel
must verify that the entire bail has been paid before releasing the inmate. EZ Card
& Kiosk guarantees those funds as soon as they appear on our real-time report.
Receipts can be reprinted from our website by the jail at a later date. In the case
of an online bail from our website a copy of the receipt will be automatically emailed
to the customer's supplied email address.
The only requirements to a jail wanting to use our self service kiosk is a high-speed
internet line (cable or DSL) and an electrical outlet.
